fresh home magazine

whenever i visit a barnes & noble, i find it hard to resist the magazine section of the store. for some reason i go through a ritual everytime, even though i know exactly which magazine section is of real interest to me. my ritual is walking around each aisle of the magazine racks looking at the travel, business, technology, music and home. of course i find aspects of all of these categories interesting, but when you're on a 1 hour lunch break with time expiring, you're left with little time to pick up all of one's favorite magazines.

today i grabbed a wired and readymade, but just as i was about to sit down, a stand-alone rack of fresh home magazine caught my eye. that was the best 20 min break spent on a nice afternoon. a good magazine should take you away from your current worries, atmosphere (even if the coffee aroma and chatter in the background is pleasantly muted) and help you arrive into the magazines world. keep your eye out for it. i will
